Visit of French delegation in GATE

On 12. December 2011 a French delegation with representatives of the French space agency CNES as well as the French government and industry made a visit in the GATE test area Berchtesgaden in order to receive some first-hand information about the capabilities of the worldwide unique Galileo test environment. In the framework of presentations and live demonstrations of static and dynamic Galileo positioning performed by the GATE operator IFEN GmbH, the visitors gained insight into the functionality of GATE and its application spectrum for the performance of tests and experiments with "real" Galileo signals.
